Hi, I am Tóngxīn.

I am a Researcher, Multimedia Designer, and Creative Technologist, dedicated to supporting and empowering social engagement for older adults through accessible and inclusive technology design. My academic research experiences revolve around long-term community-based participatory approaches with older adults, shaping my focus on designing for underserved aging groups with low technology adoption and limited face-to-face support.

I am currently a first-year PhD student in the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University, advised by Professor Jeung Jihong in the Research Center for Aging User Experience and Service System Design (AeX). Previously, I worked as a research assistant at the Future Laboratory, Tsinghua University.

I also hold a MFA Degree in Media Design Practices from ArtCenter College of Design and a BE Degree in Chemical Engineering. As a multimedia designer and creative technologist, I am currently co-directing a creative design studio New New Studio, specializing in interactive installations, multimedia art, and AR, VR, and MR applications for commercial exhibitions.
